Clean drinking water

In general, humans can survive up to three days without water. But that's only the maximum amount of time, because the first symptoms of dehydration appear after 24 hours. Because humans consist of about 71% water.

The blue gold.

Only 1% of all water on earth is potential drinking water. Potentially - because even where  you find it, the quality is often in the health-risk range: Currently, over a billion people have no access to clean water. According to the WHO and UNICEF, in 2025 almost two billion people will be living in regions with absolute water shortages.

Clean drinking water is becoming increasingly scarce while water consumption is increasing. Stock market portals are already describing drinking water as the most valuable raw material of the future.
